Basic Services Of The Funeral Director:

• Filing death certificate, notify Social Security, and securing and obtaining necessary documents

• Scheduling flight arrangements with the airlines

• Transfer from place of death into our care (additional mileage $3.25 after 25 miles and $150 for additional staff member that may be required for transportation from a residence)

• Embalming (Additional $125 for autopsy cases, organ donation cases, and infectious disease)

• Placement into standard combination unit (required by the F.A.A) (additional $125 for oversize combination shipping unit when applicable)

• Communication of logistics to the receiving Funeral Home

• Transportation to either T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island or Logan International Airport in Boston, MA

International Body Shipping

Starting at $4,395 plus airfare

Basic Services Of The Funeral Director:

• Scheduling flight arrangements with the airlines

• Transfer from place of death into our care (additional mileage $3.25 after 25 miles and $150 for additional staff member that may be required for transportation or from a residence)

• Embalming (Additional $125 for autopsy cases, organ donation cases, and infectious disease)

• Dressing, cosmetology, and hairdressing (if applicable)
  

• Air tray for casket during shipment (required by the F.A.A)

• Communication of logistics to the receiving Funeral Home

• Transportation to either T.F. Green Airport In Rhode Island Or Logan International Airport in Boston, Ma

• Some countries require the deceased to be placed in a sealed casket or other special containers such as a zinc-lined shipping container. If the desired country has a specific requirement we will provide that information.  A complete Casket Price List will be provided at the funeral home. The cost for the casket or required container would be additional.

**Each country has different requirements and may charge consulate fees. Mileage charges may apply for transfers exceeding 25 miles. Airline flight fees not included.

**Due to the sensitive nature in working with different consulates and following each country’s requirements and protocols, it can take some time to secure all required documents, apostilles, and necessary authorizations. We strongly recommend not scheduling services until the required permits and documents have been completed and a flight has been scheduled.
